• Geological Prospecting on Pentlands for Quarry/Aggregate in Empangeni, KwaZulu Natal Province for Masa Mzantsi Cement (Pty) Ltd.
• Geological Prospecting for Coal in Bethal, Mpumalanga Province for Ibutho Mzinoni Coal (Pty) Ltd.
• Bankable feasibility study of a chromite recovery operation for Masa-a-sele Investment Holdings.
• Technical and Evaluation studies on the economic beneficiation of Titanium metal for the National Research Foundation (complete – November 2004).
• Joint technology studies with NECSA and Thermtron on production of beneficiated Fluorspar and its base products through the National Research Foundation – Innovation Fund (proposals submitted and reviewed, in progress –December 2004-April 2008).
• Feasibility study and design of a Vanadium Pentoxide catalyst production facility, along with Sulphuric Acid Production in South Africa (Complete). 

• Review and updating of process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, functional specifications and process description documents for Bateman Africa on the De Beers Finsch Mine Plant Expansion Project (Complete).
• Mapping of the technical skills base in the South African Mining and Minerals cluster, which includes input sector and downstream industry, for and on behalf of Department of Science and Technology (Complete).
• Joint Feasibility study with Semane Consulting Engineers and Westech Africa on the slimes dam unit replacement at De Beers Cullinan Mine (Complete).
• Permit application for rights to explore PGM’s through the Department of Minerals and Energy for the kwaMahlungulu Community trust in Mpumalanga (complete).
• Design of process plants, on behalf of Bateman Minerals, for the recovery of Emerald and Amethyst at Chibolele Mine and Kariba Minerals, respectively, in Zambia (Complete).
• Design of a mineral processing and geological prospecting plant, on behalf of Etruscan Diamonds, for the testing and recovery of Diamonds at Tirisano Mine in Ventersdorp (Complete).
• Design and costing of a mineral processing plant as part of the Bluegum Mine Feasibility Study, on behalf of Etruscan Diamonds, for the recovery of Diamonds at Bluegum Mine in Ventersdorp (in Progress).
